STRASS ATTACK & RHINESTONE RIOTS
Dear customers, who would have expected this! Bling Bling is back. Under Bernd Schürmann one, we present our high end and couture-collections. With BALMAIN and his Bling Bling/Denver-Clan-look, Christophe Decarnin has set a new/old trend. All collections show influences which Balmain had magically brought onto the catwalk. Big shoulders everywhere, sexy and cool again, glamorous looks, rhinestone and s trass all over. People like dressing up again. In his new breathtaking campaign, which was photographed by Steven Meisel, PHI from New York has perfectly staged this new message. The look is cool, rock-like and sexy. With his cooperation with LIBERTY OF LONDON, RONNIE WOOD also follows this trend. Together with head designer Tamara Salman, he created dresses for icons, such as Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie and others. AZZARO, one of Paris’s oldest couture-houses also create fantastic sparkle. Their evening gowns have always been a guarantee for glamorous moments. In addition, the realigned collection presents breathtaking daywear items. Swarovski is the partner for this look. COSTUME NATIONAL have always been cool and rock-related. In Milan, Ennino Capasa inspired us with his fresh, new ideas. 21 years of Costume National are absolutely justified. Ennino Capasa was the first designer to show the super-skinny-look on the catwalk and the first to clothe Hollywood’s upper league. The men’s as well as women’s collections are unique. Under Marcel Marongiou, GUY LAROCHE shows a truly innovative collection. Under the label CLAER, Claudia Laermann, who designed Jil Sander’s knitwear-collection for 18 years, now shows her first own collection, which is produced in Italy by the luxury-knitwear-producer Annapurna. Selected cashmere qualities, as well as mixed cottons, manufactured to the highest standard, are the basis of this new line. In summer OSSIE CLARK with his exciting prints and hippie-dresses sold well and the St. Martins School design-team created a fantastic, fresh and feminine collection. The prints are remarkably tasteful. PAULE KA remains true to his look and the pre-collection is already très chic. We have expanded the men’s designer-department and now show the collections by NEIL BARRETT, BALMAIN HOMME, as well as COSTUME NATIONAL at the same time. Our brand manager Korbinian Baerend is in charge of this division of our agency. We are pleased to also present all these collections in our new Düsseldorf showroom. We trust in the new stars of the designer scene and would like to recommend you to have a close look at these remarkable high-end-collections. It is time to engage in new, exceptional looks in order to inspire our sensitive customers, big names alone are no longer enough. It would be a great pleasure to give you a tour of our new collections.
